Modern psychology, cognitive science, and psychiatry remain bound to a dualistic, neo-empiricist paradigm that treats the telencephalic cortex as a passive computational engine (a tabula rasa). This perspective has culminated in the Bayesian Brain Hypothesis (Predictive Processing) and symbolic models of Theory of Mind (ToM)—frameworks that rely on abstract software-layer concepts such as "mentalizing modules," "prior beliefs," and "probabilistic computations." Because these models lack a direct, non-teleological mechanism to explain physical information routing, they must smuggle an intellectual homunculus into the nervous system to act as an executive clerk. This monograph presents a radically physicalist alternative rooted in non-equilibrium biophysics, macroscale electrodynamics, and topological neuroscience: the Geometric Wave Engine Framework. We demonstrate that the brain is a closed, multi-scale geometric system whose structural constraints—cranium boundaries, cortical laminae, and anisotropic white-matter connectome tracks—force intrinsic metabolic energy to organize into a pre-configured matrix of standing waves.
