Original abstract
The rapid expansion of digital intelligence is reshaping agricultural development and creating new opportunities for ecological product value realization. Using panel data from 30 Chinese provinces between 2012 and 2022, this study constructs a multidimensional evaluation framework to assess digital intelligence development, ecological product value realization efficiency, and their coupling coordination. Entropy-based indicators, data envelopment analysis, and a coupling coordination model are applied, together with kernel density estimation, the Dagum Gini coefficient, Markov chains, σ -convergence methods and β -convergence methods to examine spatiotemporal dynamics and regional disparities. The findings of this study reveal the spatiotemporal development patterns of digital intelligence, the efficiency of agricultural ecological product value realization, and their coupling coordination level. They also highlight the importance of region-specific, tailored development strategies. These insights are of significant value for further enhancing digital intelligence, improving the efficiency of agricultural ecological product value realization, and accelerating the coupling between digitalization and agricultural ecological value realization in China and other developing countries, while also providing useful experiences and lessons for developed nations.
